About Me
Hi, I'm Shuang — born and raised in Beijing, with a background in public administration and a love for lifelong learning. After a few years in the event industry, I spent the past decade living in the Americas (USA, Argentina, and Brazil), raising two wonderful kids and growing in ways I never expected.
Life hasn’t always been easy. Navigating anxiety and depression has been part of my journey — but it also brought clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose. Now back in China, I’m embracing a new chapter and pursuing a Master’s in Data Science at Illinois Institute of Technology, combining curiosity with analytical thinking to explore how data can solve real-world problems. I recently completed the Google Data Analytics and Business Intelligence certificates and continue to deepen my skills in SQL, R, and data visualization.
I'm fluent in Mandarin, English, and Spanish (and also picked up some Portuguese). Outside of work, you'll find me outdoors — hiking, traveling, exploring nature, or geeking out about nutrition — usually with my dog by my side.
